It's nearly that time of the year - and by that time of the year - I mean..
It's nearly my birthday - wooohooo!
And while this post is mainly just cos I haven't updated in forever and to remind everyone about this joyous occaision - there is more to the post.
What do I want for my birthday..? My mum keeps asking me what I want and I cant' think of anything. It's my 18th this year so I need to try and think of something good..
There's the obvious - I could ask for a car. But I already have one.
Someone said I should ask for a motorbike - somehow, I don't think I'd grasp the full potential that a motorbike has to offer..
I'm trying to think of the other typical 18th presents - otherwise I'll get something really lame. And that would be - ... well.. very lame.
This is actually one of those posts where I'm asking for comments cos I want any suggestions you might have.. What are some good presents you've gotten over the years?
I'm not just asking cos I need ideas - I really am interested. Honest.

uh...while I got awesome pressies for my 18th....I can't remember half of them.
I was given a bottle of champs, which is fun to get on your 18th altho I dont remember drinking it.

I got a watch for my 18th and I still have it! I only just replaced it with a dress watch I just got for my 24th. So I guess that is my suggestion... Everyone needs to tell the time. And you don't want to be that annoying person that always has to ask what the darn time is!

my sister got a laptop, but apparently you have one. you also have a mobile phone. a holiday for you and a friend would be good, but then you have to choose a friend....
my 18th was a ring which was not much of a suprise seemings both my bros got one at 18, but I got a really really nice watch for my 21st.. become like a prized possession.
people say "oohhh.. nice watch."
and I say "yeah, the face is actually a solar panel-m powered by the sun."
and they say "wow, thats a cool watch will!"
so yeah, that's 3 recommendations for watches steff!

I've been sitting here reading everyone's replies, trying to remember what I got for my 18th... and I can't remember. I honestly have no idea. I got a cool watch for my 19th. but i can't remember what I got for my 18th.
I think my sister got a book of photos... you know one of those artsy ones. not my cup of tea, but she loves it.
it might be gone...but who needs a birthday to give money to matthias?
